This series progressively shows the human action over some of the most enduring and barely accesible places in Slovenia and Spain. Even if not optimal for comfortable living these lands offer a satisfaction to human curiosity that is marked on these lands on the form of what looks like twisting snakes of rubble. We can not dominate the hard stone to hold our homes, yet we can sign on these rocks with our perpetual walks to remind nature and those who come after us not only that we have been there, but the path to follow. From the inmensity of the landscape we choose only to stroll over the steps of our predecesors. After all it is not of stone that we are made of, but of water, perhaps it is water also the place where we belong.
